Mitch is a native New Yorker
who found a home in the Midwest after a stint as a journalist
in Detroit and Los Angeles. He is a graduate of Washington
University (1977) and WU law school, class of 1983. He
was the recipient of the St. Louis Equity in Education
Award in 1998. He also was selected as One of Ten Outstanding
Young St. Louisans in 1995.
Mitch's practice centers on
complex commercial trial work and representing small and medium sized businesses.
With his representation of the Missouri Valley Conference,
the St. Louis Shootout, the St. Louis Final Four, and several
professional athletes, Mitch is the closest thing to a
Sports Lawyer St. Louis has to offer.
Currently, Mitch is a member
of the St. Louis County Civil Service Commission and
just recently retired as Chairman of the Washington
University W Club - the university's athletic alumni
association. He also is President of Washington University
Student Media Inc., the outside entity that owns and
advises Student Life, Washington University's student
newspaper. Mitch lives in Clayton, Missouri with his wife
